National Pavilion of Ukraine – for the third time at BioFach

Kyiv city, Ukraine, February 04, 2016
Hall 5, booth 5-255

After first two successful years, again 11 Ukrainian companies participated as exhibitors at the BioFach 2016, in Nuremberg (Germany), offering a range of organic products, including cereals, oil crops, pulses, sunflower seeds and oil, groats/flakes, wild/ cultivated berries and berry paste, as well as certification services. The Pavilion is organized by a Consortium of three Ukrainian key organic stakeholders: Information Center “Green Dossier”, Organic Standard certification body, and QueS consultancy body. Besides the contribution from the side of exhibiting companies, the pavilion is supported by the Swiss-Ukrainian Project “Organic Market Development in Ukraine”, implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (‪‎FiBL‬) funded by the Swiss Confederation through the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), and the Project “Greening Economies in the Eastern Neighbourhood (EaP GREEN)”, funded by the European Commission and implemented by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and other organisations. For the first time, the pavilion is also supported by the Ukrainian government - information partner the State Enterprise National Research and Information Center for Monitoring International Commodity Markets (Derzhzovnіshіnform, DZI), which is a leading research and expert center managed by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.
