Green Dossier is working in the Carpathian region since 2002, including active participation in the implementation of the Carpathian Convention. We implemented about 20 projects there mostly focused on sustainable development of the region.
* ANPED Members are active in the Carpathian Convention since 2003;
* Focus on public participation and local people needs; stakeholders involving, consultations;
* COP1 (December 2006): stakeholders’ attending the official meeting, speeches from the region, Carpathian Celebration; successful lobbying;
We are sure, that it is possible to support local initiatives aimed to the traditional agriculture developing and the Carpathian nature conservation using innovative approaches based on international experience, including mechanisms of a Green Economy.
The goal of the project was to share best practices of civil society involvement in local sustainable development between Czech and Ukrainian civil society organizations.
National meeting in Ukraine in the framework of the project “Facilitating the establishment of the Pan-European Ecological Network: a programme focusing on South-East Europe and the Black Sea Area (SEENET)”.
The project was provided in Kosiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region, in cooperation with “Future in the Alps” project (organised by CIPRA, the International Commission for the Protection of the Alps, and financed by the MAVA Foundation for Nature Conservation).
The project goal was to improve social and economical situation of local people through building capacity within key agencies and stakeholders for participation and practical implementation of the Carpathian Convention in Ukraine.
This publication is based on the conclusions of the international round table for implementation of the Carpathian convention in the framework of the International world music and land art festival "Sheshory-2005".
Developing in coordination with ANPED and in consultation with stakeholders, of environmental / cultural agendas, with a view to the creation of entry points for the promotion and realisation of public participation. The development of the investigation and assessment of cultural heritage in Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia and Romania, by further meetings and/or assessment surveys and by using the preliminary results of the stakeholder processes in these countries initiated by the National Coordinating Organisations designated by ANPED.
