Projects of sustainable agriculture development

Our activity in the field of agriculture has stated in 2003 from the creation of the first in Ukraine television documentary about organic agriculture “Where the City Ends”. Till the present time, there where implemented the series of projects and were published a number of materials about biosafety: activities to support legislation that forbid implementation of GMOs, participation in Cartagena process, holding press clubs, etc.

 

Agriculture and green economy

Agriculture is very important for many countries. It affects many spheres of life that are directly related to sustainable development. They are economy, employment, labour force flows, poverty, human health, climate change, natural resources (especially land and water) and biodiversity.

Ukrainian Green Way from Farm to Fork

The European Green Deal (EGD) is not just an ambitious program for the transition to climate-neutral Europe, it is a new ideology of the relationships between human activity and the environment. Caused by global climate change and strong response of the world's citizens to it, the new European policy seeks to change the attitude towards natural resources across of all sectors, as well as to make significant changes in our daily lives and habitual behaviour.

Ukrainian National Pavilion at BioFach 2018

World’s Leading Trade Fair for Organic Food BioFach took place on February 14−17, 2018 in Nuremberg (Germany). The Ukrainian National Pavilion was presented at BioFach 2018 for the 5th time and celebrated its fifth anniversary. The Pavilion has increased almost twice from about 70 sq.m. in 2014 to 130 sq.m. in 2018 and the number of exhibiting companies has grown from 8 to 20.
